Container Optimization Solution

The Container Optimization Solution is available to all users, regardless if they have logged in or not.

1. Open Container Optimization Solution
   In Ocean Freight Solutions, click Container Optimization Solution.

2. Enter dimensions and weight of loose cartons
   If transported without pallet or slip sheet there might be additional packaging needed. Enter the dimensions of the cartons including all packaging. Enter the weight of the carton including all packaging
3. Enter dimensions and weight of cartons if transported on pallets or slip sheets
   If transported on pallets or slip sheets there is less packaging required for some products. If this is the case enter the reduced dimensions and the reduced weight. If there is no change for palletized or slip sheeted cartons, enter the same values as above.
4. Enter maximum weight and number of layers for pallet and slip sheet
5. Enter maximum % of height that can be used in the container
6. Click the Get Result button

7. Check the calculated scenarios
   A pop-up will show you all calculated scenarios, expand the Optimal Configuration section for those scenarios you are interested in.
8. If needed, enter email address(es)
   If you would like to receive the results via email, enter your email address. Click the "Add E-Mail-Address" button to add additional email addresses.
9. If needed, retrieve report via email
   Click the "Get Summary" button. The summary of the results will be sent to all specified email addresses.
10. Close the pop-up
